Applications are invited for a Temporary post of a BiOrbic Industry
Engagement & Commercialisation Officer within Bioeconomy SFI Research
Centre Bi Orbic ?is Ireland&#**Apply on the website**;s National
Bioeconomy Research Centre. It is a Science Foundation Ireland
Research Centre performing both blue skies and industry-focused
research to build and support the development of Ireland&#**Apply on
the website**;s bioeconomy.

It brings Ireland&#**Apply on the website**;s leading researchers from
across a range of disciplines including biotechnology, systems and
synthetic biology, chemistry, chemical and bioprocess engineering,
agri-food, agriculture, animal and human nutrition, marine and social
sciences.

The centre is founded by University College Dublin (UCD), Trinity
College Dublin, Teagasc, National University of Ireland, Galway and
University of Limerick and a variety of domestic and international
industry partners, with Centre Operations located at UCD. Applications
are invited for the temporary post of BiOrbic Industry &
Commercialisation Officer.

This is a temporary position to fill a specific need the Centre
needed. This Industry & Commercialisation Officer will be responsible
for supporting the Centre&#**Apply on the website**;s industry
engagement and commercialisation activities and will work closely with
BiOrbic researchers and industry partners on commercial development
opportunities arising from research in the Centre, both collaborative
research with industry and platform (PI led) research.

The successful candidate will also work closely with BiOrbic&#**Apply
on the website**;s partner, the Irish Bioeconomy Foundation to
progress and scale commercialisation outputs from the Centre at
facilities available at the National Bioeconomy Campus, where relevant
and appropriate.

Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications
and experience.
